Taste of India in Cottbus

We have already eaten there as well as ordered. The food is delicious, fresh and the halva is bombshell! The delivery works much faster than promised every time ? and the people are very courteous and friendly. All around absolutely recommendable!

So the best thing was that the specified waiting time of 1 hour was almost twice as long as the actual waiting time. The food was the last snot. Apart from the fact that we ordered 3 different side dishes, which were not only not what the name promises, but also 3 times the same, the sauces tasted like pure chemistry (and glow a bit bright in neon colors) and the main dishes could just as well be made from Fetched the freezer section of the nearest supermarket and heated it up in the microwave for 10 minutes. No order recommendation! It's a shame about the money.

Very friendly service, short waiting times, fantastic food, including vegetarian / vegan dishes??. Soup, main course plus dessert for lunch for € 8.90. That's perfectly fine. The ambience could be more appropriate / cozy. Personally, I miss the Indian flair. Unfortunately, I always find the restaurants that have been fashionably furnished these days a bit "canteen style". Indian definitely works differently.

We stopped there spontaneously. Friendly staff, short waiting times, a special attention from the house & the food was very tasty. ??

Delivery was very quick, even before it was announced - that was very good Visually, I can't complain either. In terms of taste, however, the food didn't convince me at all. I order the "same" food from every Indian - vegetarian with cheese and nuts in the sauce. Unfortunately nothing reminded me of India in terms of taste, but rather only mixed vegetables with sauce. I was also able to look for the 5 mini cheese cubes in the food. It tasted relatively good but not like other local restaurants with the same flavor. For just under € 12, it was rather a sober disappointment.

Lured by very positive reviews and arrived with high expectations. Tandoori oven was broken, so there were only dishes in sauce. Despite different names, these are extremely similar in color and taste (not particularly exciting), there is virtually no spiciness and everything is carelessly arranged by very hasty staff. Unfortunately a disappointment and the quality by no means justifies the high price, a shame.

Very nice staff, clean and very good food. We had a lunch menu for 8.90 euros. Unbeatably cheap for soup, main course and dessert. We would love to come back.

Very good accessibility. Nice personel. Good selection and also very well explained menu. Also recommended for vegans. Tasty and very sufficient portions. Good offer for those who get hungry quickly at lunch during the week. Absolutely good price / performance ratio. Always happy.

Very pleasant ambience, in the middle, good sitting place....BUT when we went for the first time the food was delicious, so we went another time. BUT.... next time may be I think the cook was changed or so because the dishes we ordered had only turmeric and no salt no proper taste. That time we got Disappointed ☹️ but everyone has a bad and good day. May be next time, we hope it’s good. Otherwise I would recommend everyone to go.?

The lunch offer for 8.90 euros was delicious but the snappy service was not at all. Even when it's full, friendliness comes first.

Oh, that was good. Very, very tasty. The service was very friendly and attentive. ???️ Papadam was the house's attention. The Chicken Masala was really great, really flavorful.

Chosen the lunch table for € 8.90, got a delicious soup, a tasty main course and then the best ice cream that I have eaten in a long time. Price-performance ratio is right and the service is above average friendly.

Very very tasty. The dishes were well prepared. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. The ambience is inviting but it was a bit noisy. In any case, we will visit the store again.

What a perfect place where to taste the real Nordindian cuisine, really nice service and the people are so kind!

The food was delicious beyond our expectations and the staff was really friendly to us! The price isn't student friendly but for the quality of the food, it's definitely worth it. 10/10 one of the best Indian restaurants in Germany!
